I’ll say this right now. This isn’t your typical weight-loss blog.
I wanted to create a space that didn’t necessarily share recipes or overnight success tips or dressing for your body-type topics. I wanted to create a space that showed people the real-life emotional roller coaster that is the weight-loss journey. The content won’t be filtered or sugar-coated (sugar is bad for you, anyway). It will be raw, and not always favorable. I needed a place where I could be truly honest about my thoughts without people telling me “you shouldn’t think that way.” This isn’t a Dove ad; this is real life. The fact is there are good days and bad days and it’s important to embrace both. I hope readers of this blog can relate to the ups and downs and push through to their weight-loss goals despite everything that works against them.
